Focus art NGO was founded in Yerevan, in 2016, , after the reorganization of Utopiana.am NGO. Although Focus has a small staff, it has managed to find many partners and make friends, many of whom are involved in the organization’s projects. Thus, Focus is not only a comfortable working space, but a venue for different events, meetings and discussions.
In addition, Focus is an open studio that provides artist with different tools and facilities to realize their projects, e.g. photo and video equipment, editing tools, etc. Focus also has a comfortable library and reading room where you can find plenty of books on art, philosophy, architecture, fiction, etc. (see here).
Focus is currently dealing with issues of art education, archiving, sustainability. It has three ongoing projects — Medialab, ACTV and Library.
