Art NGO
Focus is a Yerevan-based art NGO with a venue for different events, meetings and discussions. The organization also has a comfortable library and reading room, where you can find plenty of books on art, philosophy, architecture, fiction, etc.
Focus is currently dealing with the issues of art education, archiving, sustainability. Currently, it is carrying out three ongoing projects — Medialab, ACTV and Library.
ACTV is an online TV project by Focus, which has become an alternative platform for media development in Armenia. Created in 2012, it aims to use art as a tool to study and analyze.
Medialab is a semi–annual art educational program created in 2007. The program provides free art education for young artists and artistic youth.
Focus maintains a public library in its office. The library’s collection includes many books and catalogues in Armenian, French, English and other languages on art, philosophy, architecture, literature, etc.
